I don't think any of the many wedding professionals or businesses in general find happiness in last minute cancellations regarding higher ticket services or products. Recently we received a call the week of the wedding to notify us the wedding had been postponed. Our first thoughts are the amount of planning,scheduling and reserving the date that were involved. In this case,however before receiving the call I was going to suggest to the bride-to-be to change her date. As a policy we don't quote prices over the phone for the following reasons: We haven't had the opportunity to meet the couple in order to get a feel for their individual personalities, determine what exactly is needed and what they envision their wedding day to be.
